Blizzard Servers Collapse After DDoS Attack

Over the past week, Blizzard has experienced a series of DDoS attacks on its servers, cutting off the player base from its favorite games. As of April 20, 2023, Blizzard is still reporting repeatable DDoS attacks on an almost daily basis and is urging all its players to be patient.

Some players are reporting that while they can’t connect to the Blizzard servers themselves, their friends can, meaning the issue may have been localized. In this case the World of Warcraft The developer encourages its fans to clear their DNS by following these official instructions.

There is nothing you can do about it for now, Blizzard will need some time to sort out the situation. If you get an error message that you could not connect to the servers, copy the error code and send it to Blizzard Support.

In the most extreme cases, players have also reported hacked emails, to which Blizzard also responded with the following message on Twitter:
