Core Keeper: How to Find Copper Keys

Copper keys are not a rare commodity though Core Keeper, they’re hard to find when you really need one. You’ll come across more locked copper chests throughout the game than the items that open them, which can be frustrating when trying to access the treasures within those chests.

Where to find Copper Keys

There are several ways to get a Copper Key Core Keeper. One of the most obvious is to try your luck by looting chests in certain areas, which you may have already done or stumbled upon:

  • Forgotten Ruins
  • clay caves
  • The underworld
  • Larva hive

However, the chance of finding a Copper Key in these chests is high only 4.55%.

To craft a Copper Key you will need a key cast table. To build the Key Casting Table you will need:

To get Scarlet Bars, follow the guide linked above. However, you must also defeat the game’s first three bosses:

  • Glorch the abominable mass: Found underground.
  • Ghorm the Devourer: Found Circling in the Clay Caverns and Forgotten Ruins.
  • The crush mother: Found in the Larva Hive.

Once you have all the materials required, simply build the Key Casting Table and collect 5 Copper Ingots to craft your own Copper Key.
