In the first half of dead island 2You spend quite a bit of time at the Goat Pen House in Bel-Air. While initially it’s just an obstacle between you and the Halperin Hotel, the goat pen holds some tantalizing secrets, including a blueprint, a lockbox, and a few different side quests. How to get the master key on DI2 so you can finally have the run of the place.
Mess with the Goat: How to Get the DI2 Goat Pen Master Keys
On your first visit to the Goat Pens house, during the early story quest “Call in the cavalry”, you will probably notice a couple of locked doors, one of which has a blueprint on the other side.
Three of the local zombies are former members of the Goat Pen team and The first one you take out will drop a key card, but that only lets you out through the back gate of the house. It doesn’t let you into the master bedroom on the second floor or the fancy wine room behind the bar.
There are workarounds for both, however to get the Goat Pen Master Keysyou need to complete a few seemingly unrelated tasks.
Complete the “Death to the Party” quest
Complete the side quest first”death of the party‘ in Bel-Air to help aging movie star Curtis Sinclair. He’ll call you on his intercom right after you leave Emma’s house.

After that, Curtis will go to Emma’s playroom, sit down, and never move again.
Continue the main quests until you reach Venice Beach Unlock Fast Travel. You get a call from Emma on your radio, where she tells you it’s okay for you to go back to her.
Start the creature comfort quest
At this point, a number of new side quests will be unlocked, including “comfort for creatures,” offered by Curtis.

Creature Comforts requires you to obtain expensive liquor from Goat Pen and Colt Swanson’s house for Curtis to gift to Emma as thanks for housing.
When you return to the Goat Pen’s bowling alley in Creature Comforts, you’ll find a new named zombie. Goat Pen Jamie. There is a collectible journal entry on the bar in the goat pen that will point you in Jamie’s direction.

After his second, bloodier death, Jamie drops the Goat Pen Master Keys. Now you can go into the wine room for Curtis and grab that Blueprint for the Weighted Weapon perk..

A note on the Goat Pen Master Keys, Dead Island 2 Co-Op, and Brock’s Safe Key
Remember that in dead island 2 cooperative, when a player grabs a key, journal, or blueprint, they are automatically added to everyone’s inventory. If you’re running Creature Comforts in co-op and can’t find Goat Pen Jamie, check your inventory to make sure one of your teammates didn’t kill him and get the key for you.
There’s also a Goat Pen zombie brock, which can appear as a crusher by the goat pen’s pool if you’re there at night. He also drops a key, but it’s for the locker in the “Spartan and the Broseidon” podcast studio near the front door. I only mention this so you don’t confuse the two.
