You unlock the Beach subclass At the end of incidence of light campaign, but it is incomplete. They don’t have any of the opening aspects that you used throughout the story. More importantly, you don’t have any of the fragments that can make a halfway balanced supplement destiny 2 into something terrifying.
To improve the beach, visit the Pouka Pool in the Hall of Heroes on Neomuna. There, you’ll spend a currency called Strand Meditations to earn extra grenades and fragments.
Beach Meditations: How to Obtain Aspects, Fragments, and Grenades
Earning enough Beach Meditations to unlock all of Beach will take a while. This is how much each ability costs.
- beach aspects: 150 meditations.
- strand fragments: 200 meditations.
- stick grenades: 50 meditations.
You should spend the 500 Free Beach Meditations that you get at the end of the incidence of light Campaign to unlock your aspects and a single fragment. If you’re looking to spend some to get your other two Grenade options, this isn’t a bad option either.
How to get meditations
From there you have to do all kinds of activities throughout the system and specifically on Neomuna to get more meditations:
- Defeat enemies with Strand anywhere in the system.
- Activities on Neomuna such as patrols, public events, collecting loot boxes, etc.
- Defeating enemies and completing activities in the current Vex Incursion zone that doubles the rewards for meditation.
- Complete partition activities once you have access to Nimbus’ weekly bounty
- Complete the Nimbus Merchant Challenge by earning reputation
If you grind enough, you can unlock everything in the Beach subclass with a single weekly reset, but you have to be dedicated. Luckily if you’re early in a playthrough of incidence of lightAfter the game, there are many reasons to explore Neomuna. For more coverage of destiny 2‘s latest expansion, check out our guides hub.
