Disney Dreamlight Valley‘S The Pride of the Valley update brings Simba and a brand new questline to experience alongside him. You must, of course, level up his friendship to gain access to his quests. This guide will show you how to complete his level 4 friendship quest, The Great Gathering.
How to complete the Great Gathering in Dreamlight Valley
First you need to get Simba to friendship level 4 and complete his prerequisite quest. No problem. Once you have completed these steps, the quest will be available to you.
As usual, we recommend asking Simba to meet up for the duration of the quest so you don’t have to keep chasing him.

- First, find Simba on your map and select his icon to get a Dreamlight trail to him.
- Go to Simba and talk to him. He’ll tell you that he wants to throw a party for some friends in the valley and that you need Remy’s help to plan the menu.
- Find Remy on your map and go to him.
- Talk to Remy, he will suggest one for you Large seafood platter, because it provides enough food for everyone, including a lion’s big appetite. They also need a dessert for the meeting, Aurora’s cake.
- You can find a recipe book in your inventory to officially learn the recipe for the Large Seafood Platter.
- Aurora’s Cake requires:
- 1 egg
- 1 milk
- 1 (any) fruit
- 1 wheat
- 1 cane
- Gather all the necessary ingredients and head to a cooking station.
- Once you’ve cooked the two recipes, go back to Simba and give them to him.
- Talk to Simba and he will tell you that you need to gather the right guests for the picnic; Someone who is fun, someone who puts everyone at ease, and a hero who has many stories to tell.
- You have to invite Goofy, Minnie and Maui. Find them on your map and go to each of them. You have to talk to them to invite them.
- Return to Simba after inviting all three guests.
- Talk to Simba, he will give you the “Carefree” banquet table.
- You need to place the No Worries table somewhere in your valley. Go to the furniture menu and select Simba’s icon, it’s the only piece of furniture there.
- Once you set the table, everyone will gather around it and eat your recipes, posing for a photo along the way.

- Return to Simba, he will say he needs to talk to Nala.
- Follow Simba and watch him and Nala talk. You will learn that Simba has forgotten that he was planning to feed animals Nala and needs to make it up to her.
- You have to feed 5 animals in the valley and grow 9 carrots in the Peaceful Meadow biome.
