Where to start breeding season 2023 in FFXIV?

As with most seasonal quests, you must be level 15 before you can accept Jihli Aliapoh’s Get Along and Play Knife quest.

If you are level 15 or higher, you can find Jihli in New Gridania near the etheryte of Mih Khetto’s amphitheater at (X: 10.2, Y: 9.4).

How Get Along and Play Knife works

Jihli needs your help as sylphs are wreaking havoc and interfering with the Hatching Tide decorators. However, the Sylphs are startled at the sight of those disguised as Tonberries. After accepting the quest, talk to Hamlyn to get a Tonberry disguise that lasts half an hour.

Now travel to the areas marked in red on your map to find sylphs. They have an icon over their head to talk to them and a dialog prompt will appear. Choose one of the two options to scare the sylph away. You must be in the Tonberry disguise whenever you speak to the Sylphs.

After scaring three sylphs, return to Hamlyn standing next to Jihli to turn in the quest. But it seems the sylph’s mischief isn’t over yet. Now they target the Archon Eggs and prevent them from being delivered. Your next quest is Chaos, Carnage, Eggs and takes place in the Central Shroud.

This quest requires you to complete the FATE Don’t Be Sylphic. If you join the FATE, you will be transformed back into a clay berry and only have the ability to scare sylphs. The goal of the FATE is to collect the colorful Archon Eggs from the ground and give them to Hamlyn who is standing nearby.

After participating in and successfully completing the FATE, return to Gridania and turn in the quest to Jihli.
