Highcard is a boss in Fourteen days which you must defeat for that Week 4 quests for Season 2 Chapter 4. Highcard can be found in a few specific locations across the island, but not immediately. In this guide we will tell you where to find the boss and how to deal with his troops.
Where can I find the high card boss in Fortnite?

The high card boss appears after the first storm cycle. Once he spawns, a point of interest notification will appear on your minimap, alerting you to your measured distance from Highcard. If you’re nearby, you’ll also hear a portal opening.
Highcard can only be found in three locations:
- Brutal Bastion
- broken plates
- MegaCity
He can be recognized by his black suit and black and red face mask. His two guards are dressed all in white with some red on their face masks.

How to beat the high card boss
Highcard travels in an entourage of three, so you’ll need to be prepared to take on more than one enemy at a time, but don’t worry: we’ve got you covered when it comes to the best weapons to take them down.
Highcard has one Mythic Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle equipped, and it can definitely drain your health fast, so make sure you have full shields and health before the fight.
There will likely be other players after him as well, so watch out when approaching. Luckily, the gang won’t intervene until you fire first, giving you a chance to determine your best plan of attack.
Best weapons against high card boss
We found that the Kinetic Blade is particularly useful as the NPCs are not very good at dodging it. The Kinetic Blades are easy to find in Kenjutsu Crossing, which is right next to Mega City, one of Highcard’s locations.
Here are the best alternatives:
- Stolen Blink Mag SMG
- Looted Run N’ Gun SMG
- Improved Havoc Pump Shotgun
- Red-Eye Assault Rifle
You can also try to take out his minions or deal damage to Highcard from afar with the Cobra DMR or a sniper rifle. We’ve found the Cobra DMR to be really effective this season at dealing efficient damage with little effort.
After defeating Highcard Boss, he drops a Vault Keycard which you need for another week 4 quest. You’ll find the vaults in the same location as Highcard, and they’ll be underground and accessible through a dedicated entrance.
