Chromebook users rejoice Fourteen days is available for you to download and play. Normally the game is easy to install and launch. However, with the Chromebook, there are a few ways to go about the process and it can get a bit confusing. We’ve created this no-fuss guide to make it easier for you to jump right into the battle royale and get some dubs.
How to put your Chromebook in developer mode
Some of the download options require developer mode. Importantly, developer mode will erase your account and local data from the device, so it’s best to be safe as this cannot be undone.
- Turn off your Chromebook
- Hold ESC + Refresh and turn on your Chromebook
- Release the keys once you see the prompt for the recovery process
- Click on additional options
- Enable developer mode by clicking on it and pressing Enter
- Confirm developer mode
- The device will restart
- After powering on, select Boot from Internal Hard Disk and press Enter
