Anti-Lag and Launch Control are two new ones ForzaHorizon 5 Features to be released alongside Rally Adventure DLC. not only adds a new region for you to explore. The free Midnights at Horizon update brings both of these features to all racers. Both work together to provide a more realistic racing experience, but you may be wondering what they are and how to use them.
Forza Horizon 5 Anti-Lag System Explained
The ForzaHorizon 5 The anti-lag system is usable as long as a car can be used turbocharged. The system helps reduce or eliminate turbo lag. To activate it, go to any Horizon Festival site or player home page and go to:
- Upgrades & Tuning menu
- Custom Voting
- engine
This will tell you if your vehicle has twin turbo Furnished. If that’s the case, check out the option for an anti-lag variant. However, if you don’t see that option, you may need to leave Conversion tab if a Twin Turbo Aspiration Swap is present.
Note that these settings cost money. If you downloaded a setup from another player, the anti-lag option may be locked and you’ll need to remove it if you need to make further adjustments.

Forza Horizon 5 Launch Control Explained
The ForzaHorizon 5 The Launch Control system ensures that you can gain an advantage at the start of each race. Go to Campaign -> Difficulty and you should see this it is enabled by default. Likewise, it should be triggered automatically at the start of racing events.
How to use Launch Control in ForzaHorizon 5 When free roaming, stop your car to make it stop. Then hold the E-brake shortcuts/buttons and accelerate.
As soon as you let go of the e-brake, your car should accelerate, which includes a turbo boost thanks to Launch Control. This should be useful for most activities like drag racing.
