It’s been a few weeks Genshin Impact Version 3.5 coincided with the new characters Mika and Dehya. It is now time for the version 3.6 update called A Parade of Providence.
The flagship event of the same title, scheduled to start on April 12, 2023, will be centered around the Akademiya Extravaganza festival in Sumeru. Following the Liyue Lantern and Mondstadt Windflower festivals that formed the basis for the previous two updates, players can see how the Sumeru region likes to celebrate.
Genshin Impact Academy Extravaganza
The Akademiya Extravaganza mainly features six unique mini-games to play through:
- collecting stars – Rotating astrolabe puzzles.
- project connectivity – A construction mini-game where you have to create a usable path between checkpoints using as few resources as possible.
- Ancient hunt – A replica collecting minigame.
- On the trail of the truth – A story-based investigation mini-game.
- concocted reaction – Unique battle domain tracks.
- mimetic replication – Time-based mini-game with animal movement simulation.
While there are many of the typical rewards for completing these events, including Primogems and Mora, players can also unlock them Faruzan for free. This will be a prime opportunity for those who missed it when it was added in December or want to increase their constellation.

Sumeru’s desert region continues to expand with a brand new area called Belt of the Sands. It will bring new enemies and exclusive events. A weekly boss called Apep and an Abyss boss called Unrighteous Baptist will also be fought within the new area.

Everyone is always looking forward to the new banners and there is a lot to celebrate with the new update. The first phase features The Moongrass event requests for Enlightenment and Twirling Lotus, led by fan favorites Nahida and Nilou. These replays give new players a chance to unlock them and returning players a chance to build their constellations.
The second phase will add two brand new characters, each previously introduced in different quests.
The Immaculate pulse Event request will include the long awaited Baizhu join as 5 Star Dendro Catalyst Users while the Adrift in the Harbor event will be a repeat with Ganyu. Kaveha new 4 stars Dendro Claymore user, will be available in both. Players can also unlock the Catalyst weapon for Baizhu named Jadefall’s splendor.
Rounding out the character content are some unique quests. Both Baizhu and Nahida will receive exclusive story quests while fans of the Cryo character layla have more time to learn more about them in a new hangout event.
