Genshin Impact: How to Find and Use Plume of Purifying Light

The Plume of Purifying Light is a type of collectible item in Genshin Impact, added as part of the update to version 3.6. You acquire these objects in the Gavireh Lajavard and Realm of Farakhert regions of Sumeru. Below we explain what Purifying Light is, how to use the Amrita pool and give some pointers about the hard-to-find locations.

Genshin Impact Plume of Purifying Light explained

When you start exploring the Gavireh Lajavard and Realm of Farakhert regions as part of Khvarena of Good and Evil, you will notice golden balls floating in the air. If you look at your mini-map you will also see that they are denoted by a tulip/flower icon. These are the Plumes of Purifying Light that can only be collected from Sorush.

To grab them, switch to Sorush and let them fly near the sphere, then press the interact button. This is a time trial challenge where you have to collect other glowing fragments in the air.

There’s a fairly generous time limit (around 20-30 seconds) so you should be able to pick them up. You can also use Sorush’s speed boost to move faster.

After picking up the last fragment, you’ll also need to get the Plume of Purifying Light yourself to complete the task at hand.

The Amrita Pool

So how exactly do you use it Genshin Impact Plume of Purifying Light items? For that you have to go to Amrita pool in the oasis of Vourukasha.

You can offer six Purifying Lights at a time, which will net you rewards like Sumeru Materials, Primogems, and the Sumeru: Amrita Name Card as the grand prize. Once you’ve offered at least 30 of these, the remaining Purifying Light locations will appear on your map.

Plume of Purifying Light Locations

Many of these objects are found as you explore the areas of the overworld, but there are several deep in underground tunnels and caves. Therefore, we recommend that you keep advancing the quest until you complete it Like the Khvarena’s light showsto make these areas accessible.

In addition, there are a number of feathers that you don’t get with the regular time trial method. Instead, you must clean Fravashi treesand some of these will also require Udumbara Stamp.
