Two new playable characters have been added to the roster Granblue Fantasy: Relink. Fans of the series can now choose between Zeta and Vaseraga as their characters when the game launches on PS4 and PS5 sometime in winter 2023. Here’s what we know about the new characters.
Both Zeta and Vaseraga previously made their debut in the series and hail from Granblue Fantasy: Versus. As playable characters in the fighting game, the duo are often seen together and even wear matching Jack-O-Lantern costumes.
Vaseraga is fully covered in ebony armor and wields a huge scythe. It is said that he was once embraced by numerous shadows that caused him to repeatedly sin. As a symbol of his fall from grace, he put on his dark armor.
With her blond hair, blue eyes and fair skin, Zeta is the complete opposite of Vaseraga. Don’t be fooled by her shy looks, however, as she is a skilled warrior known for only hunting down the toughest targets, including Vaseraga herself.
Whether you decide to play Zeta, Vaseraga, or one of the unannounced characters, you’ll still end up traveling through the kingdom of heaven. Most of the story takes place in the Zegagrande Skydome and revolves around the Church of Avia. To save the Kingdom of Heaven from a catastrophic fate, you and up to three others fight through new adventures that go even beyond the Kingdom of Heaven.
