One of the first games unveiled during Sony’s May 2023 PlayStation Showcase was a theatrical trailer Helldivers 2. It’s been quite a while since anyone whispered about a sequel to the original co-op shooter, but the game is definitely happening. Unfortunately, the trailer was just a film confirming a PS5 and PC release. No gameplay was shared.
We know this Helldivers 2 will shake up the perspective and be a 3D shooter. Plus, you’re still building bases and fighting bugs. There really wasn’t much to say, but details will be announced soon after today’s stream.
