This renders the target impotent regardless of power or level, effectively defeating them without incurring any cost or damage. Sneaking up on a troll can be a bit tricky without setting a few talent points toward disillusionment, so it’s best to exercise caution when approaching them anyway.

A great alternative way to defeat trolls and get troll bogeys is to use the Chinese Chomping Cabbage.
This magical plant item is one of three combat plants that can be used to deal a ton of damage to enemies. Including the Chinese cabbage Chomping, the mandrakeand the Venomous Tentacula, Battle Plants can be purchased from Dogweed and Deathcap for 300, 500, and 600 Gold Galleons, respectively.
Armed with a few Chinese Cabbages, witches and wizards can either sneak up on trolls or position themselves on higher ground to deploy the Battle Plant and watch their opponent fall in a matter of seconds.
