Eventually, during your mission on Jarilo-VI in Honkai: Star Impact, you will reach a mission called “To Rot or to Burn” where you must try to negotiate with Svarog, the robot lord of the underground. However, you will not be able to see him. You have to prove yourself both in battle and in quizzes. Everything you need to know to fill out the form is available here.
How to complete To Rot or to Burn in Honkai: Star Rail
Shortly after arriving at the robot settlement, you must go through a locked gate that requires three levels of security. There are three certifications in the alley to the right of the entrance to the settlement where three robots are waiting. The first two will ask you to answer a question; the third will fight you.
You can ask the villagers for the answer and they will give it to you in a roundabout way, or you could just give the correct answer in advance. Here are the answers to the questions about the robots To Rot or To Burn:

- First robot question: Who is the reigning champion of the Internal Combustion Engine Rap Tournament?
- Answer: 88 degree bedrock

- Second robot question: To which component must a microcrystalline unit be connected?
- Answer: Logic Control Hub
When both questions are answered and the last robot is defeated, return to the gate, go through it, and enjoy encountering a second, larger, and more heavily fortified gate. You have to convince Clara to help you at this point and she is back in Rivet Town.
Note that the enemies in Rivet Town are level 26 and up, so make sure you’re up for the challenge.
Bear left as you move through town and you will eventually reach Clara who is being pursued by a boss mob. This fire-wielding enemy performs two turns at a time, with its first turn attacking a single party member and all subsequent attacks hitting a random selection from them about ten times. When the monster is stunned, it reverts to its single-target attacks for a turn, and then resumes its multi-target attacks.

When you defeat this enemy, talk to Clara and she will return to the village. Follow her past the first gate and down the now active elevator. Go right, defeat the two smaller robots, then talk to the little girl again. Fix the broken machine nearby and she will finally agree to let you negotiate with Svarog.
Communicating with Svarog is a losing battle as he is convinced of his plan to the core. There doesn’t seem to be a way to change his mind either, as whatever we chose in our playthrough ended up with our party fighting Svarog in a two-stage boss fight.

When Svarog is defeated, he will provide the answers your party was looking for, and once you’ve spoken to Natasha about your plans, you’ll complete To Rot or To Burn.
