How to get more battery devices in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Before we discuss possible locations, let’s note the function of the item. The battery is used to keep other Zonai devices and, of course, makeshift vehicles running.
Once a battery is completely discharged, your energy cell will gradually become depleted. There are also two variants: batteries and large batteries. The latter, of course, has essentially as much power as several of the former combined. They are more valuable and therefore rarer.
Battery sources and waste
Now to the question of how to fit more battery devices Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomthere are a few sources:
- Some can be found as normal loot in chests.
- There are armories or abandoned Zonai build areas that have various devices.
- The Flux Construct Boss tends to drop various Zonai devices. These are usually random.
- And of course there are also Zonai device dispensers.
Using TotK Zonai device donors
A Zonai device dispenser can sometimes get you the all-important batteries Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. However, each machine has its own selection pool. In addition, you must place Zonai Charges or Large Zonai Charges. Like a gachapon machine, the rewards are still random.
Below we have listed some donor locations in the Sky region. For your convenience we also added a map:
- North Hyrule Sky Archipelago: brave island
- Sky Archipelago of South Eldin
- Lanayru Sky Archipelago: wind temple
- South Lanayru Skyarchipelago
- Faron Sky Archipelago: Thunderhead Islands
I personally prefer using the Zonai device dispensers in the Sky region when I need extra batteries. Although there are some of these on the surface and in the depths, those in the sky region are mostly right next to shrines, making them good for fast travel.
