Metroid Fusion Morphs Over to Switch Online + Expansion Pack Next Week

After adding Game Boy Advance games online to Nintendo Switch just a few weeks agoNintendo is expanding its range of retro titles with an absolute classic among games. Metroid Fusion will be made available to subscribers as part of the Switch Online + Expansion Pack service on March 9, 2023. This completes the 2D Metroid Series will be playable on Switch.

Published a day earlier Metroid Prime in the year 2002, Metroid Fusion is a sequel to Super Metroid and follows Samus on her journey to planet SR388. Landing there, she encounters the mysterious SA-X parasite, who eventually attaches itself to her suit and creates an evil clone bent on destroying her.

A tense battle sees you dodge the SA-X while also getting to the bottom of the remaining Metroid threat on this new planet. It’s an excellent game that carries on the great tradition of its predecessor Metroid title by offering players tons of upgrades to discover and secrets to discover.

With any luck, Nintendo will add Metroid Zero mission coming online in the near future. A remake of the original game, many consider it the best game in the series and it’s an absolute must for fans.
