Pokemon GO has announced its next event for April, a Mystic Hero event. The event supports Blanche, leader of Team Mystic, and focuses on research and Pokémon evolutions. It starts on April 13th at 10am and ends on April 17th at 8pm.
The focus of the event is the special research, aptly titled A Mystic Hero. During this special research, you will directly assist Blanche in learning more about Pokémon evolution. The reward for completing it is a Lapras with a Blanche accessory, and it can also be Shiny. This is the only way to encounter a Lapras adorned with Blanche accessories this season.
A Mystic Hero event rewards you with two guaranteed Candy XL and double XP when evolving Pokémon.
To help you collect enough candy for evolutions, Lure Modules last for three hours. Field Research will also highlight the evolving Pokemon, and reward Stardust and Evolution items upon completion.
A special timed research will be available that grants a magnetic decoy module upon completion. While a magnetic bait spawns certain Steel and Electric-type Pokémon, like Pikachu and Aron, it also allows you to evolve Magneton, Nosepass, and Charjabug.
