The Pokemon TCG Scarlet and Violet Paldea Expansion was announced by The Pokemon Company International before the new one Pokemon TCG: scarlet and violet series is out. With the new Pokémon Tera, the expansion contains over 190 cards. The set will be released in participating stores on June 9, 2023.
Scarlet & Violet – Paldea Evolved will feature a variety of Pokemon including Pokemon ex, Tera Pokemon ex, Slowking, Forretress, Dedenne and the franchise mascot Pikachu.
The booster packs include designs from Chien Pao, Meowscarada, Quaquaval, Skeledirge, and Ting-Lu. Alternate art styles that show Pokemon’s personality are added to illustrate rare and special rare cards. Here are the details of the special cards included in the set:
- 15 Pokemon Ex
- 3 Tera Pokemon Ex
- 36 figure rare Pokemon
- 18 extremely rare Pokemon e.g
- 8 ultra-rare supporter cards
- 15 special rare Pokemon and Supporter cards
- 9 hyper-rare gold-etched cards (Pokemon ex, trainers, and energy cards)

Available for pre-order, the Scarlet & Violet – Paldea Evolved The Pokemon Center Elite Trainer Box contains two promo cards, one of which has the Pokemon Center logo. It will also contain two additional booster packs, sleeves, the rulebook, coins, damage counters, and energy cards. The box is available for $77.99 Pokemon Center website.
