Resident Evil 4 Mercenaries Mode Arrives in April

Capcom has confirmed this Resident Evil 4 Remake‘s Mercenaries Mode DLC will be released in April. This fan-favorite mode made its original appearance in the series RE4 and has since appeared in many other entries. While you won’t be able to play it at launch, you won’t have to wait long for the free update that brings Mercs to the remake.

Mercenaries mode will be added as a free DLC update on April 7, 2023 for PC and consoles. Mercenary was announced Resident Evil 4 Remake In the final Capcom showcase before starting the game.

The Mercenaries is an intense challenge mode that pits you against waves of enemies on a timer. You complete stages faster and more efficiently to get higher scores and unlock more challenges and rewards.

Traditionally, the Mercenaries let you play as different characters than the main game’s protagonist (Leon in this case) and try out their weapons. In the original RE4 Mercenaries that you could eventually unlock and play as Ada Wong, Krauser, HUNK and Albert Wesker. There’s no word on whether these playable characters will return RE4 reissuebut we really hope they do.
