When you host a gameyou can select a new game or continue an already created one.
For a new game you will Choose a difficulty, with the option for a custom difficulty. A custom difficulty level allows you to set details like enemy stats, seasons and their length, and whether you want to take damage from starvation or dehydration.
You then name your new server, choose the number of players you want to allow in a room (2-8), and decide if you want to limit your server to only players from your friends list.
How to invite friends
Then you can start your server and either wait for others to join or invite your friends to the server lobby before starting the game using the “Invite Friends” option. at the bottom of the screen. Otherwise, you can tell them the name of your server so they can search the join screen if they can’t jump into the game right away.
