The first year of street fighter 6 DLC was introduced by Capcom. Today’s SF6 Showcase gave us a lot of new information for the game’s “World Tour” campaign and its online battle hub. A demo was also presented and is now available. Along with all that information came confirmation of what characters fans can expect to see in the game’s Year One DLC pass. Rashid, AKI, Ed, and Akuma will join the game at the start of each season through 2024.

As the Tweet from official street fighter Twitter confirmed, each character will appear here:
- Rashid will be the first DLC character to enter combat in summer 2023.
- AKIa brand new fighter for street fighter 6will walk in in the fall of 2023.
- Edone of the most evil characters out street fighter 5will be released in winter 2024 (which is around January).
- Finally, fan favorite akuma Shun Goku Satsu will make its way onto the list in Spring 2024.
It’s not the most exciting news and Capcom didn’t have any gameplay to present, but it’s nice to know what characters are coming ahead. If these four don’t capture your imagination, you won’t feel pressured into paying for a season pass just based on promises. It’s a little refreshing to see this kind of transparency from Capcom.
A little more controversial will certainly be that during the showcase, Capcom confirmed that these characters will appear in the game’s World Tour campaign. You probably won’t fight the player character, but you may be able to learn moves from them. We’ll find out when in a few weeks street fighter 6 starts.
