Tears of the Kingdom will Feature “Traditional” Zelda Dungeons

Only two days left until the much-anticipated release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the KingdomNintendo has posted the first three parts of an Ask the Developer interview session with game developers. Much has been revealed, including more information about it Extension of Hyrule and the completely new skydiving special feature. Now we can add dungeons to the list.

In the Q&A session, the development team confirmed that dungeons are making a long-awaited comeback. Tears of the Kingdom will feature “huge” and “regional” dungeons throughout, delivering what franchise fans have long expected from a return to the franchise.

Nintendo followed up the third part of the Ask the Developer interview session with a tweet summarizing the reintroduction of Dungeons. However, the news sparked surprisingly mixed feelings.

It’s no secret that dungeons have been at the top of every longtime gamer’s wish list of features they’d like to see back Tears of the Kingdom. As such, the addition is big news for franchise fans who have sorely missed these challenging in-game locations.
