Next for the Tekken 8 Roster is series veteran fighter Ling Xiaoyu, who was first introduced in Tekken 3. Her graceful fighting style (inspired by a blend of Chinese martial arts) and elegant flair have made her a fan favorite, so it came as no surprise to learn that she would be returning.
With the enhanced fidelity of Unreal Engine 5, Ling’s movements flow smoother than ever. There are references to wushu, bagua and tai chi in her fighting stance, which she incorporates into a graceful offensive. Her lively nature and speed have always made her a solid fighter.
The new critical art Ling uses may not be as flashy as Jun Kazama‘s or something like that Jack-8, but Ling doesn’t have to be brutal to get your attention. She’ll win the match without breaking a sweat and look stunning doing it.
With Ling Xiaoyu on the list, that probably means we’ll see Panda return Tekken 8 (although that hasn’t been confirmed by Bandai Namco yet). We’ll definitely see a trailer for them in the next few days, so keep your eyes peeled. Rendered in ultra high fidelity, Kuma and Panda will be a sight to behold.
