The release date for Daedalic Entertainment The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is finally here. The adventure game will emerge from its shadowy lair on May 25, 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. A Nintendo Switch version is planned for some time later in 2023.
After unveiling a new story trailer earlier this week, the company felt it was time to let fans know when they can get their hands on the precious one.
Based on the book series, which needs no introduction, gollum takes you through the lands of Middle-earth from a new perspective. As the wicked, corrupt hobbit Smeagol, you’ll need cunning and cunning to get past the horrors that stand in your way as you search for the Ring of Power.
In a story-driven action-adventure experience, you have the choice to enjoy Gollum’s darker, more chaotic side or navigate situations with Smeagol’s friendly nature. While the Peter Jackson film trilogy gave people an idea of what Gollum is, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum tries to take that expectation and turn it on its head.
