The Bone Zone is already one of the toughest challenge levels in Vampire Survivor. When you decide to take on the rolling ball of bone that randomly roams its southern half, things get even harder. However, there’s a relic waiting for you if you succeed, so we’ll hit that “bone ball‘, also officially known as Skelemari.
Vampire Survivors: Defeat the Skelemari in the Bone Zone
The bone zone challenge phase Vampire Survivor first becomes available when you unlock Hypermode as an option on any three normal stages. Typically, this is a reward for defeating any mini-boss that spawns at 25:00 in a normal stage.
In the Bone Zone, every enemy is a skeleton of some sort, and no torch will drop anything other than gold coins or bags. The only healing methods you have are the ones you bring with you, like the Sarabande of healing arcana.

You can also stack the Bone Zone’s gold multiplier up to 300% by activating both Hyper and Inverse modes, which is the highest multiplier you can get in the basic version at any stage vs. It’s a nice stage for farming money.
Once the bone zone is unlocked, you will likely notice that there is a white question mark on the map and that the question mark is moving. If you chase it, you’ll discover it’s the Skelemari: a massive rolling ball of bone.

The Skelemari can absorb other nearby skeletons in itself what it is grow and increase its maximum HP. While this only happens when the Skelemari is on screen, it can still cause trouble if you drag out the fight long enough. The longer you stay in the bone zone, the more skeletons will appear, even without a curse or spell, which is more raw material for the skelemari to pick up.
The bone ball is too immune to frost effects like the Clock Lancet and instant death spells. While Rosaries can’t drop into the Bone Zone, you could theoretically do something like a suicide dive from Cosmo Pavone into the Skelemari and then revive him to set off a Rosary-style explosion. However, this will not kill the Skelemari.

That means you’ll have to resort to simple brute force, but there are a few tricks to bringing down the Skelemari.
The first is easy: vs is built to make it harder to survive if you’re constantly on the move, because you’re not focused on getting kills and earning experience gems. By nature, you must hunt the Skelemari.
Second, The Bone Zone has a few breakpoints where it suddenly becomes much heavier. At 10:00 a.m., one of the green reapers, the Stalker, appears and will pursue you non-stop for the next minute. It’s invincible to anything you would logically have access to at that point in the level, except for the pentagram or victory sword.

Third, The Skelemari’s constant movement and random patterns make many of the best weapons difficult to hit Vampire Survivor, many of which fire in random directions or automatically target the nearest enemy. The Skelemari is easier to kill if you specialize in weapons that are typically low priority, especially the knife. If you can, the knife to the Unrelenting Edgeyou can just hunt down the Skelemari and blast it with flying knives until it’s destroyed.
All of this makes it seem easier than it is. Choose a character with a high base move speed stat, such as B. Big Trouser, and stay the first 10 minutes of the Bone Zone to get a decent build. Once you have some protective relics and a decent knife, hunt down the Skelemari.
When you defeat the Skelemari for the first time, she will drop a hidden relic that Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane. This will permanently unlock the Secrets menu vs‘ Home screen that gives you clues on how to unlock all of the game’s different hidden survivors.
