You may be wondering who the main character is Honkai: Starway now that it’s officially released. Well, the main character in HSR is the Trailblazer, but there’s a little more to it than that. Here we answer who to take you to HoYoverse’s latest fantasy space RPG.
Who is the main character of Honkai Star Rail? answered
You start the game as Kafka, a woman who is following the orders of a mysterious figure named Elio. After some fighting, Silver Wolf will join you as you search for a Stellaron, a concept that isn’t explained until later in the game. Of course, a Stellaron needs a vessel, and that vessel is your main character.
Once Kafka has the Stellaron, you will be given the option to play a male character (Caelus) or a female character (Stelle). If you don’t like the default names, don’t worry. After choosing the gender you want to play as, you will have the option to change the character’s name.

Does it make a difference if you Choose Stelle or Caelus? Not really. There is currently no difference between these two options, so you can choose your container based on what you want to play without worrying if it’s a better choice or if your choices will hinder you later in the game.
It’s important to note that once you’ve chosen your main character, your decision is final. The only way to switch after this point is to create a new account.
