Wild Hearts Developer Investigating PC Performance Issues, Says Patch is on the Way

Developer Omega Force will be released soon Wild HeartsA monster hunter-like game, has suffered from a number of performance issues on PC during its Early Access period, rendering it unplayable for some. In a new update for its community via the Steam Community Forumsthe company said it is investigating these issues and will work to release a patch next week.

Omega Force is constantly working to improve and optimize performance [sic] the game for a variety of hardware specifications in future updates. We have a patch next week that fixes a CPU bottleneck issue that the team discovered; this should improve performance over mid-high-end CPUs.

Like a string of high-profile PC releases over the last year, Wild Hearts suffers from stuttering issues and low framerate issues on high-end devices. Anecdotal evidence from people up It is said on various forums that even playing on systems well above the recommended system requirements will result in below average performance. Omega Force hopes to counteract this by adding Nvidia’s DLSS and AMD’s FSR technologies to mitigate the poor performance caused by upsampling.

In the meantime, the company is asking anyone who is having trouble submit their DXdiag results to the team via the EA website. While these issues are unlikely to be fixed with the upcoming day-one patch, hopefully it won’t be long before players across all platforms can enjoy smooth performance without worries.

Wild Hearts will be released on February 16, 2023 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
