WoW Dragonflight: How To Customize Your Dragon
Come in early dragonflight, you go to the Skytop Observatory to take on some quests that will teach you how to ride and customize your dragon. To do this, use a Rostrum of Transformation.
As for the customization options, they’re called Drakewatcher Manuscripts, and you get them through dungeons, reputation, and quests. I wasn’t looking for Dragon Warden Manuscripts on purpose, but I don’t feel like I’m lacking in customization options for my dragons, so collect them as you progress through the Dragon Isles. As a nice feature, the customization options are account-wide, so you don’t have to get the same ones for every character.
There are four Rostrums of Transformation in total. They appear on your mini-map as a golden dragon head.

You can find Rostrums of Transformation at:
- Skytop Observatory in Wake Shores
- Rusza’thar range in the Ohn’ahran Plains
- Misty Canyon Overlook in Azure Span
- West side of Valdrakken
Then you can continue your journey on the Dragon Islands with a new style. And if you get bored with the looks of your dragons, you can hunt for specific Manuscripts or revisit a Rostrum of Transformation without too much effort, as you can find one in each major dragonflight Area.
