Getting the Winding Slitherdrake is pretty easy as you earn it by progressing through the Embers of Neltharion campaign. The Winding Slitherdrake is a reward for completing Inherited Sin, the fourth chapter of the campaign.
Before you can start Inherited Sin you must complete the following:
- A crib shared
- groundbreaking
- Divided Legacy
- The antique bargain
All of these storylines are now playable, so you can grab the next chapter right now on May 9th when it’s available.
Then all you have to do is complete the 10 quests that make up Inherited Sin to get the Winding Slitherdrake as a quest reward at the end of the chapter.
I’ve been collecting manuscripts for Winding Slitherdrake customizations through side quests in Clay even though the mount itself isn’t in game yet, so this is an option to while away the time before May 9th. This way, not only are you ready to earn the mount, but you can also instantly change its style.
