As for that Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Archaic Armor or Archaic Tunic, I needed to explore the Great Sky Isle a bit more. Specifically, I had to go south and then east once you complete the puzzle In Isa Shrine, you go south and then east. Along the way, you should come across a point of interest called pond cave.

Make your way through the caves and take out the enemies inside. At the very end you should find a Bubbul Frog. You can kill it and collect the Bubbul Gem it drops. At this point you should also see a narrow tunnel on the side. Follow him and you will discover another chest. This will give you the Archaic Tunic.

As mentioned, it really doesn’t offer much protection as it only gives a +1 armor rating. It’s almost useless against bosses and tougher enemies. However, it lets Link walk around in a top.
