Figuring out how to open the door to the Temple of Time is the main objective of the second quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The Locked Door quest requires you to have enough power to enter the Temple of Time and get beyond the Sky Isles. In many ways, this mission acts as the game’s tutorial. Be prepared as it may take a few hours to complete. Here you will find everything you need to know.
How to complete the Closed Door quest to open the door of the Temple of Time

You will reach the Temple of Time in DeadK after picking up the Purah Pad from the Steward Construct in the Sky Islands. The destination marker on your map will guide you there.
When you interact with the Temple of Time door, the green seal will turn red and the entrance will be covered with ribbons. Rauru will appear and tell you that the door of the Temple of Time can only be opened by those with sufficient strength and that your arm does not have the strength to open it. You must find a place full of holy light. He points you to a nearby Ukough shrine and begins the quest The Locked Door in earnest.
Completed the Shrines of the Three Sky Islands
From here you need to complete the following shrines scattered across the Sky Islands. You can complete these in any order. For example, I completed Gutanbac Shrine before In Isa Shrine. However, I don’t recommend doing them in this order because it’s easier to reach Gutanbac Shrine from In-Isa Shrine.
Starting with these shrines grants you three different abilities: Ultrahand, Fuse, and Ascend. If you solve the puzzles contained within, you will receive 3 lights of blessing.
Complete the Temple of Time puzzle

After completing the shrines, return to the Temple of Time to unlock the first door. Interact with the altar in the back of the room to trigger a short cutscene. After that, you’ll get a new ability: Recall. Solve the turning mechanism puzzle to reach a new area of the temple.
Behind the altar are three rotating devices with platforms on them. You can start with either the left or the right, but the goal is to get to the pillar between them. Wait until the platforms are level with you (or almost level) and use Recall to change the direction of the device. Jump onto the platform and then over to the pillar. Do the same for the next device to reach the next area.
There, interact with the door at the back, the second door of the Temple of Time. This door will drain your health and Rauru will appear, alerting you to complete another shrine in the Sky Isles. You will gain the ability to fast travel, which will allow you to reach the Nachoyah Shrine in the southern part of the map.
Complete this shrine and return to the Temple of Time. Interact with the second door again to open it and complete the process Tears of the Kingdom Tutorial and access Hyrule.
And this is how you open the door to the Temple of Time and complete the quest “The Locked Door”. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Visit our site for more information on Link’s latest adventure DeadK Travel guides page.
