In fact, there are a few things that might point to her deeper, more nefarious history surrounding the iconic princess. Although we don’t see them often during gameplay, we can finally answer this question. Be warned: some spoilers follow.
Is Zelda evil in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?
The definitive answer, I can assure you, is no: Princess Zelda isn’t bad at it Tears of the Kingdom. Although some information might give the impression that she’s fully committed to the dark side, she’s still very good.
As it was inside breath of the wildMost of Zelda’s story is hidden in memories that you discover as you play. Still, there are others that you may not find! This makes it easy to overlook storylines and storylines that tie Zelda’s story together. You may see or hear what Zelda has been doing since the seal of Ganondorf was broken, but that doesn’t mean “Zelda evil”.
As interesting as a villainous Zelda could have been, I (along with many other fans I’m sure) feel it was right to keep it good. The developers did an excellent job with their role Tears of the Kingdom — and being bad didn’t have to matter in the way they told the story.
Zelda doesn’t spend her time just randomly appearing, turning into a ball of light, and then floating away. Her journey is marked by her classic, noble intention to do everything in her power to help Hyrule, her friends, and Link.
It seems unlikely that we’ll see a bad Zelda any time soon. Well, apart from being used as a puppet again twilight princess’ Ganondorf Battle. If a big change is coming, I would prefer a playable Princess Zelda to a villainous version. Seeing her take on more important roles to help Link is acceptable consolation for now.
