The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom The Twins Manuscript quest has this special puzzle:
In West Necluda, twins stand ready to duel. Each contains a cave facing the other. Show the sign of the little twin to the big twin so that he opens the door to my treasure.”
I had an inkling of where this clue would lead, particularly with regard to the word “duel”. I knew that could only mean Dueling Peaks. When you get there, you will notice mountains cut through by a river. There are two cliffs on opposite cliffs: north and south. The coordinates are: 1183, -1949, 0247.
TotK Twins manuscript puzzle solution
The note speaks of a “sign”. This can be found in the northern cave. As you can see in the image below, there is a triangle with several shaded circles:
This relates to the puzzle in the southern cave that you want to go to next. Inside the cave are several pressure plates that form a kind of triangle. There are also a few stones.
The idea, as shown in the next image, is to place the stones on the correct tiles so that they match the pattern in the other cave. That would mean (from top to bottom):
- First line = None.
- Second Row = Left Plate.
- Third row = middle panel.
- Fourth row = second plate from the left; fourth/far right panel.
