The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom The Long or Wide Puzzle can be found in the Utsushok Shrine. You will move objects with your ultra hand to demonstrate your power. While the first challenge is fairly easy, others require a little finesse. And to get the treasure chest you need to be a little skillful. Here is our guide to help you solve the Long or Wide Utsushok Shrine puzzle Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Utsushok Shrine Long or wide puzzle solution in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Location of Utsushok Shrine
The Utsushok Shrine is located in Faron, north of the Lake of the Horse God and south of Pagos Forest. The exact coordinates are 0669, -3358, 0072. The location is marked on the map above so you know what to look for.
TotK Utsushok Shrine Long or Wide Puzzle Walkthrough
With your Ultrahand you move a ball over the lanes in the totk Long or wide puzzle, and while it may seem easy, some of the challenges here are a bit tricky. Throughout the sanctuary I had to think for a few moments, but in the end I found the easiest and quickest way out. Here’s what you need to do for each puzzle area.
First long or wider puzzle solution
- Throw a ball forward when entering the shrine.
- Grab the rectangular block with your Ultrahand. Lift it to the left as shown above.
- Dropping it will propel the ball forward on the lane and into the goal.
- The gate opens.
- Enter the next room.
Second TotK Long or Wide puzzle solution
- In the next room you will see a metal cube on the right.
- Take the metal cube with your Ultrahand and attach it to the back of the new rectangular piece in front of you as shown above.
- Swing it back like you did in the previous challenge. The metal cube provides enough weight to propel the ball up the ramp on the track.
- As soon as the ball reaches the goal, the next gates open.
Third long or wide puzzle solution
- When entering this part of Utsushok Shrine Tears of the Kingdom, you will see a new rectangular piece in front of you. Grab the rectangular piece with your Ultrahand and attach it to extend the hanging panel as shown above.
- Swing it to send the ball to the goal. A mine wagon appears and drives to the other platforms.
- So far you have seen the Long of the Utsushok Shrine challenge. Here you see the wide. Detach the rectangular piece from the hanging plate.
Fourth long or wide puzzle solution
- Take the new rectangular piece with your Ultrahand and attach its smaller end to the hanging stone as shown above.
- Jump into the mining cart and grab the slab with your Ultrahand by swinging it back, but don’t let go completely just yet.
How to get Utsushok Shrine Long or Wide Treasure Chest
Now that you’re ready to hop in the mining wagon, have your Ultrahand skill ready to snag the long or wider treasure chest with a sneaky elixir inside. The first time I played through Utsushok Shrine, I flew past this treasure chest and had to go back.
- On the left side of the path is the treasure chest, simply perched on a ledge.
- Once you let go, you’ll need to quickly grab the treasure chest with your Ultrahand as your cart races past it. This is one of the hardest parts of the Long-or-Wide puzzle if you want the rewards. I had to use recall twice to get the timing right. So don’t worry if you don’t get it right the first time.
With the sneaky elixir in hand, you can approach the exit and receive your light of blessing!
