Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom — Where to find Luminous Stone in TotK

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Glowstone is a valuable item that can be used to upgrade armor pieces in the Awakening and Radiant sets and is sold for Rupees and more. It is a rare and unique ore that glows at night. It is also said to contain the souls of the dead. Of course, getting it is not easy and you may be wondering how to get it. Instead of stumbling around in the dark, here’s where to find it DeadK Luminous stones.

How to get the glowing stone in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Glowing stones can be found throughout Hyrule’s caves and rocky regions. They are also dropped by Luminous Stone Talus. However, that doesn’t mean they’re easy to get. In fact, they are among the rarest gemstones of all Tears of the Kingdom – unless you know where to look.

And you will want that too, as they are used to upgrade certain key armor and can be sold for 70 rupees each. Personally, the light stone ran out quickly when feeding dondons. Needing a new supply, I discovered the best place to farm these items on the Sky Isles.

To farm DeadK Luminous stone that you absolutely want to go to North Necluda Sky Archipelago (1816, -1125, 0923), lies east of Great Sky Island. The exact location is marked on my in-game map image above.

Here you will find a small island full of mining nodes, many of which contain glowing rocks. I managed to find 15 of them in just one run so this farming location was definitely worth it.

To get to the glowing stone mining location, you need to rotate the launch platform in the center of the island as shown in the image above. Then just jump on it, wait for it to launch you and glide over to the island. You’ll find numerous mining nodes and a treasure chest containing the Will of the Wise.

After the nodes are depleted, you must wait a blood moon cycle for them to respawn. You can unlock Josiu Shrine (1760, -1207, 0924) while you’re there for easy return.
