In general, you won’t find Sundelion in the Deeps. As the depths are shrouded in darkness, you will seldom see the sun’s light shining through. However, the surface region proves it light more lucrative. I’ve searched various locations in Hyrule and found that the plant is still pretty hard to find.

However, in the Forgotten Temple there are a few places where you can breed Sun Delion where you will come across them Mayausiy Shrine. what’s more DeadK Solar Delion Nodes also tend to reappear after a Blood Moon cycle.

Sundelion effects and cooking meals

If you already have some sun delions you may be wondering what effect they have and you can use them in cooking. Sonnendelion alone does not really heal you, so you should combine it with other ingredients.

Simply use any cooking pot, such as the one in Lookout Landing. Then select the sun delion and combine it with another edible ingredient, such as any type of meat, fruit or mushroom.

The resulting meal will have the affix “Sunny” meaning it “unlocks” hearts afflicted with gloom. If you add another ingredient that also restores hearts, the food itself will also heal you.
